Could you please provide me with any advice or information (additional to the Proposal Report and the Submissions and Board Recommendations Report which are available on the Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand website) which was considered by Land Information minister Hon Chris Penk in considering the proposal to change the name Petone to Pito One, which it was announced yesterday has been rejected by the minister?
Please also provide any correspondence between the Minister (or his office) and Land Information New Zealand and/or the New Zealand Geographic Board regarding this proposal and decision.
