Dear Health New Zealand,
Waikato Hospital staff have still not heard anything more about the Holidays Act remediation payments.
The goal was to finish up with the payments during 2024 latest early 2025.
Many staff at Waikato Hospital have been notified that they are "significantly affected" through the latest round of government austerity national health cuts. This means that most, if not all, of them will be made redundant.
On or before what date will full and final settlement of Waikato Hospital staff Holidays Act remediation payments happen?
