Analysis of submissions made to the Fast Track Approvals Bill
Suze Keith made this Official Information request to Chris Bishop
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Suze Keith to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Suze Keith
Dear Chris Bishop,
Could you please share with me:
1. the total number of submissions made to the Fast Track Approvals Bill including the pro forma submissions
2. the total number of submissions that opposed the FTAB and the number of submissions in support
3. the reports to you or to the Environment Select Committee by your officials analysing the advice from the submissions and the rationale for adopting or rejecting the advice
4. the application made by Santana Minerals requesting inclusion to the listed projects schedule in the FTAB
5. the full analysis undertaken by the Project Advisory Group providing the rationale for inclusion or exclusion of projects to the FTAB. I do not mean this summarised version that is already on the MfE website: https://environment.govt.nz/assets/acts-... - I would like to see the full analysis which I assume was shared with you to assist with your decision making
6. the process you followed to reduce the 342 projects recommended by the Advisory Group down to 149 projects, and the rationale for inclusion or exclusion.
Yours faithfully,
Suze Keith

Kia ora,
On behalf of Hon Chris Bishop, thank you for your email.
Hon Chris Bishop considers all correspondence to be important and
appreciates you taking the time to write. As the Minister receives a
large amount of correspondence, it is not always possible to personally
reply to each email. As such the following guidelines apply:
o Invitations and meeting requests will be processed as soon as
possible, and a staff member will be in contact with you in due
course.
o Requests for official information (OIAs) will be managed in accordance
with the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982, which may
include transfer to a more relevant Minister or agency.
o If your request relates to media, it will be referred to the media
team.
o If your email falls outside of the Minister’s portfolio
responsibilities, expresses a personal view, or is copied to multiple
Members of Parliament, your correspondence will be noted and/or
transferred to another office.
o Latest information from the Beehive can be found here:

If you are a resident in the Hutt South electorate, please email
