Hi Pablo,
Thank you for the update.
Regarding the third party's request for my identity: I do not consent to my name or contact details being released to the third party. As you know, the Official Information Act operates on the principle of availability and is generally "applicant blind," with Ombudsman guidance supporting that a requester's identity is not necessary for third parties to form views on release (particularly for personal capacity requests).
I am willing to share that the reasoning behind my request is significant public interest in the accountability of Ministers regarding their interactions with, and gifts received from, large commercial entities and lobbyists. Transparency regarding potential influence on Executive decision-making overrides commercial sensitivity in this instance.
