We refer to your information request below. Hamilton City Council provides
the following response.

What was the final build cost of Claudelands Events Centre?
What was the cost to move The Grandstand?

 

Our response:

 

 1. The total build cost for Claudelands Event Centre project was
$68,536,646. The scope of the project included relocation and
refurbishment of Claudelands Grandstand, development of new Arena,
internal refurbishment to create new Conference Facility, new
Exhibition Hall, new Entry and Exhibition Plaza and new car park and
service yard.

 

 2. The cost of the 2009 relocation and refurbishment of The Grandstand
(as part of the above project) was $1,752,237.
