This request is in regard to statistical data on student performance for the following University of Auckland papers. Could the following statistics please be provided under the Official Information Act
(1) Final grade distribution (broken down grade by grade, e.g., A+, A, etc.).
(2) The mean numerical mark.
(3) The median numerical mark.
(4) The number of students who completed the following courses:

Grades, not marks, are the University's final measure of academic
assessment. Marks are used for initial calculation of grades (see
[1]https://cdn.auckland.ac.nz/assets/auckla...)
but grades may be subsequently changed for various reasons, such as
aegrotat/compassionate consideration or academic misconduct.
This constitutes a partial refusal of your request under section 18(g) of
the OIA. You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.
