Dear Greg,

Thank you for contacting us.

Provided that you have not already exceeded the maximum stay allowed as a
visitor (6 months in a 12-month period) and you hold a valid passport
issued by one of the countries listed on our visa waiver country list, you
may not need to apply for a visitor visa prior to travel to New Zealand.

To assess whether you are eligible to travel to New Zealand under the visa
waiver programme, please refer to the information at the following link:

[1]Visa waiver factsheet

Visa waiver visitors must obtain an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel
Authority) prior to travelling. Information on the NZeTA process is
available online:

[2]NZeTA

If you find that you do not need to apply for a visitor visa to travel to
New Zealand, to be granted a visitor visa on arrival you must show:

·         onward travel arrangements (return or onward ticket) to a
country which you have the right to enter; and

·         funds for maintenance (NZ$1000 per person per month of stay);
and

·         a valid and acceptable travel document, valid for three months
after the intended departure date. Or one month after the intended
departure date, if the government that issues your passport has consular
representation in New Zealand that can issue and renew travel documents.

Kind regards,
