From: T. Farrant
Dear EQC Info Mailbox,
Thank you for your prompt response. To clarify my request, I have cited text from Section 15.3.2 of the MBIE Guidance:
"In addition to the 2011 trials, in 2013 the Earthquake Commission (EQC), in conjunction with MBIE and other parties, investigated several shallow ground improvement methods designed to strengthen or build a non-liquefiable 'crust'. The 2013 trials are referred to as the EQC Ground Improvement Trials and the resulting Science Report is currently in the process of being published."
The report I am requesting is the one referred to as the "Science Report" in the above text. It is my understanding that the text of which will contain technical information, including an evaluation of the effectiveness of ground improvement methods (including a number of 'new' ground improvement options recently presented in the latest update to the MBIE Guidance).
Based on a cursory review of the link provided it appears that the "Science Report" relating to the 2013 EQC Ground Improvement Trials has not yet been publicly released. If EQC is presently in possession of the report (in draft form, or otherwise), can you please provide it for my reference.
Yours sincerely,
T. Farrant
