Dear requester,
I refer to your request of 13 June 2024. The information requested is
attached, subject to the following:
o The University does not hold final mark statistics. Grades, not marks,
are the University's final measure of academic assessment. Marks are
used for initial calculation of grades (see
[1]https://cdn.auckland.ac.nz/assets/auckla...)
but grades may be subsequently changed for various reasons, such as
aegrotat/compassionate consideration or academic misconduct. This
constitutes a partial refusal of your request under section 18(g) of
the OIA
o The University does not hold the requested information about student
performance in MEDSCI760, ENVSCI702 and ENVSCI704, as these courses
did not run in 2023. This constitutes a partial refusal of your
request under section 18(g) of the OIA.
o The information requested for MEDSCI 744 in Semester 1 2023 is
withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA to protect the privacy of
the students to whom it relates.
You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.
Yours sincerely,
Landon Watt
