Dear Enquiries National,

Many thanks for your response. It is much appreciated.

There are some facts I would like to pass on in regards to your message.

Huapai area. You advised that children are also able to go to Kaipara College and Hobsonville Point secondary school. Please note that Hobsonville Point does not accept any out of zone students. Kaipara College also operates a zone and it is very hard to get in as out of zone. This same issue applies to kids who do travel to North Shore High Schools. The numbers are dropping here as schools on the shore are also not accepting out of zone.

Massey High School
My daughter currently attends Massey High, she has advised that ALL classrooms in D block are still being used, the school has no option but to use these classrooms as there simply isn’t enough classrooms for everyone. It will be wonderful to have D block renovated please advise timeline for this to happen?

Classroom numbers, I am hearing that some classes now have 35-40 students in certain classes. I believe this number is far to high and does not allow either staff or students to be taught effectively. You say that Massey High is only temporarily at capacity, however when I Hear classroom numbers of this size I believe this is a bigger problem which needs to be address. Please advise what is being done to give the school additional teaching staff and classrooms to allow our children to get a really good education?

Yours sincerely,

Kirsten Hartley
