Non-primary residential properties owned by current MPs
Colin Jeffries made this Official Information request to Inland Revenue Department
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Inland Revenue Department should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
      From: Colin Jeffries

    Dear Inland Revenue Department,
The subject of property investors and their impact on sky rocketing Auckland house prices is the subject of widespread debate and is of material consequence to stakeholders to the residential property market.
It is then relevant to know what direct economic interest in investment properties our elected MPs have and how this may or may not shape their attitude and approach to legislation on investment properties.
I hereby formally request details of non-primary residential holdings of current Ministers of Parliament be released by the IRD and made available to the public.
Yours faithfully,
Colin Jeffries
