Working visa and Bachelor degree
Paul Zhao made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment
Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment did not have the information requested.
      From: Paul Zhao

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
I understand that at this stage international students who completed their Bachelor degrees in New Zealand can be granted a three-year Working visa upon their graduation.
Does this also apply to students who first study towards a Diploma qualification (New Zealand) but later transfter to study towards a Bachelor degree (New Zealand)?
Provided those students complete their tertiary education wholely in New Zealand, will they be granted a three-year Working visa upon their Bachelor degree graduation?
Is there any possibilty that they will be granted a less than three-year working visa because they started their tertiary education from a Diploma programme?
Yours faithfully,
Paul Zhao
