Dear West Coast Regional Council,

I am requesting  copies of the reports raised following the Westport
floods of
July 2021 and Feb 2022.
There should be a report by the WCRC along with the BDC on the flooding
damage.

There would have been an investigation into the causes of the damage along
with possible solutions and recommendations.
That is one report I am seeking.

The Hawkes Bay flood reports have been completed and are now online, but I
have yet to see anything from the West Coast.

Indeed I have not even found the terms of reference for the Westport flood
report.
There may even be a separate report and that would be concerned with the
Emergency Services response.
This was the case in Hawkes Bay, there are two reports along with the ToF.

I was expecting the reports to be publicly available by now.
The recommendations contained within will form the basis for devising
flood defence schemes and damage mitigation.
