Under Section 5(2) of the Constitution Act 1986 references to Her Majesty the Queen are deemed to include a reference to His Majesty the King. Accordingly, Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand will not be updating the registered owner of land titles from Her Majesty the Queen to His Majesty the King.
Any new titles issued or transfers to the crown will be registered in the name of His Majesty the King.
