From: Mr McCallum

Dear Clive and Jess,

If a CV demonstrates knowledge, skills, etc. what is the reason for proof of education and a testimonial?

Is this not triple-handling?

Yours sincerely,

Mr McCallum

Kia ora ano Mr McCallum,

The information contained in a person's CV would only be sufficient if it was accompanied by a statutory declaration that all the information in the CV was true and correct. Because of the possibility that a CV may include false or fictious information, the Teaching Council requires independent verification of an individual's specialist qualifications and their work experience.

If you have any further queries about the registration and certification process, please feel free to get in touch with our team via [email address].
