I am writing to request information under the Official Information Act 1982 regarding any communications, agreements, or collaborations between the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), New Zealand Aviation Security Service (NZAS), and any New Zealand agency that would receive or disseminate information contained in the document titled "Joint-Chiefs-UAP-Directive-May-2023 [made available through a FOI request in the USA by a Douglas Johnson, dropbox link below]."
Specifically, I seek clarification on the following points:
1.Has the CAA or NZAS received the document titled "Joint-Chiefs-UAP-Directive-May-2023" [made available through a FOI request in the USA by a Douglas Johnson] from any New Zealand agency that would receive or disseminate information from the document?
2.Are there any records of communications, agreements, or arrangements between the CAA, NZAS, and any New Zealand agency that would receive or disseminate information from the document, regarding matters related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) or similar phenomena?
3.If there have been any communications or collaborations related to UAP or similar phenomena involving the CAA, NZAS, and any New Zealand agency that would receive or disseminate information from the document, please provide details of such interactions.
I understand the need for sensitivity regarding certain information and request that any redactions or restrictions on disclosure be clearly indicated. If possible, please provide the requested information in electronic format to the email address provided above.
