Thank you for your OIA request for all reports, plans, contracts, funding
sources and any evaluative material prepared in regards to this
environmental programme.

 

Unfortunately, your request is too broad and has the potential to be
refused as it would involve substantial collation. The Mt Messenger
project has been running for around seven years and in that time has
generated a lot of documentation – in the area of thousands of documents.
In addition, there is quite a lot of information already in the public
domain - for example through the resource consent process and on our
website.

 

It would help if you could:

o Define a time period you are interested in
o Define the environment aspects you are interested in – for example is
it the pest management programme or all the environment works NZTA is
undertaking on the project – noting that much of that general
environmental work is part of the conditions of consent, is in the
public domain and is an integral part of the construction work in
terms of work scoping, reports, planning, contracting and funding.
o Specify and refine what you mean by ”evaluative material”
o Specify and refine what you mean by “funding sources” – noting that
NZTA is government funded under the Government Land Transport Fund and
all our funding information is in the public domain.

 

We would also strongly recommend you use the search tool on our website to
find information on the project, and also that you check what is available
through the local council which should include all the consenting
information.
