Draft of Treaty Principles Bill

Corey made this Official Information request to David Seymour

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Corey to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Corey

Dear David Seymour,

The ACT Party has launched a website, treaty.nz, that intends to provide the New Zealand public information about the upcoming Treaty Principles Bill. This website too was funded by the Parliamentary Service.

Given this, I am OIA requesting a copy of the latest draft of the Treaty Principles Bill which would be put to Parliament for first reading. It would be appropriate as you are the Associate Minister responsible for this proposed legislation.

It is fair for this to be released so that the people of Aotearoa New Zealand can see for themselves what the actual contents of the bill will have. It too, is important as the treaty.nz website nor any other forms of content from just yourself should not be seen as a "one source of truth".

Yours faithfully,

C John F
