Thank you for contacting the Department of Internal Affairs.  You have
 contacted us during the annual legislative closedown period of public
 service OIA processing, which spans 24 December 2023 to 15 January 2024
 (inclusive). 
During this period Official Information Act processing is suspended.
If you are making a new Official Information Act (OIA) request for
 information held by the Department, we will respond to you after OIA
 processing resumes on Tuesday the 16th January 2024.  You can check the

If you are seeking information about processing timeframes for a specific application, I must advise that the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) receive a number of Citizenship data requests which become quickly outdated, as the data is constantly changing.

As noted on our website, once the Department has looked over the application, you will be contacted if any additional information is required.
Your request includes information specific to a country or countries. I must advise that data counts between 1-4 are masked with <5 to help prevent identification of individuals.
Please confirm by 19 January 2024 whether you wish for the Department to proceed with your request or whether you would like someone from the Department to contact you regarding your OIA request. If you would like someone to contact you, please send your contact details to [email address]. Please DO NOT REPLY TO THIS RESPONSE WITH YOUR CONTACT NUMBER as it will become public on the FYI website.
