Paul Wheatcroft email 9th August 4:20pm

Barry Murphy made this Official Information request to Ruapehu District Council

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Ruapehu District Council should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Barry Murphy

Dear Ruapehu District Council,

Paul Wheatcroft emailed Kainga Ora 9th August 4:20pm regarding stormwater management outside of Giles Tait (Kāinga Ora) property. Paul stated he could not answer the question and that no one was present that could help. It was stated to ask Mr Tait to answer his own media related question on his conflict of interest he was being accused of.

Paul stated "Giles may be able to help as he has answered earlier stormwater management questions"

1./ Please provide all stormwater related questions and answered by Giles Tait
2./ Please provide documents held by council showing an active stormwater outlet outside mr Taits property
3./ Please advise who the people at council "may be able to help are not available" are.
4./ Please request the information from those people in question 3, to now answer the question relating to the stormwater to get a council response.

Yours faithfully,

Barry Murphy

Dear Info,

I am still waiting on a response on this OIA that was submitted 9th October and acknowledged by RDC on 11th October, due for response on 7 November.

Since then I have not received any further communications from Council, I have followed up many times:
14 November
11 February
15 March
And now again today.

The question asked was:
Paul Wheatcroft emailed Kainga Ora 9th August 4:20pm regarding stormwater management outside of Giles Tait (Kāinga Ora) property. Paul stated he could not answer the question and that no one was present that could help. It was stated to ask Mr Tait to answer his own media related question on his conflict of interest he was being accused of.

2./ Please provide documents held by council showing an active stormwater outlet outside mr Taits property

4./ Please request the information from those people in question 3, to now answer the question relating to the stormwater to get a council response.

.....

At the time, it was suggested that RDC didnt have the resources present to answer questions that were asked regarding stormwater / GIS / services. I the above questions, I have asked for copies of those records that council holds proving that the stream is an active stream outside Mr Taits property as the developer of Snowmass (David Holland) has confirmed that there is no stormwater as those pipes were severed over 10 years ago when he installed all the new stormwater. Even council GIS maps show no active stormwater drain.

We await the above 4 questions to be answered with priority.

Yours sincerely,

Barry Murphy
