I am a New Zealand Citizen. I am writing to kindly seek some updated information regarding Student Visas as per below:

1. After the border reopens, total number of student visa applications INZ has received, approved and declined until 31 May 2023, compared with same period pre covid19 ? Can we please break down these stats into sectors – total/ University / School / PTE / Te Pukenga / Other?

2. After the border reopens, total number of Indian student visa applications INZ has received, approved and declined until 31 May 2023, compared with same period pre covid19? Can we please break down these stats into sectors – total/ University / School / PTE / Te Pukenga / Other?

3. Reasons for visa declines in India market for each aforementioned sectors.

We are writing to advise you that the Ministry has decided to extend the
period of time available to respond to your request under section
15A(1)(b) of the Act. The data and information to be scoped and collated
in order to make a decision on the request are such that a proper response
cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.

 

You can now expect a response to your request on, or before, Wednesday 26
July 2023. This represents a two-week extension to the original
time-frame.

 

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision, in accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. Information
about how to make a complaint is available
