Child support payments (before 1 July 2023)
TLO made this Official Information request to Ministry of Social Development
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for TLO to read recent responses and update the status.
From: TLO
Dear Ministry of Social Development,
Can you please confirm whether or not individuals on sole parent benefits (before July 1) and that have their child support entitlements paid direct to MSD from IRD considered income?
Also is it being used to offset the individuals sole parenting benefits or debts?
I ask because I note Johnathan King’s OIA request 24 May 2016. Johnathan from AAAP didn’t even get an answer he sought out back then.
I now demand full disclosure and answers!!!!
I demand transparency and I specifically want a “Yes” or “No” answer to the question! Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
TLO
