I am writing to request the information regarding Transport sector agreement details and the information regarding:
- The list of employers who have signed the Waka Kotahi (New Zealand Transport Authority) ‘All Parties Memorandum of Understanding – Improving Driver Terms and Conditions’ for the region they wish to recruit bus drivers.

On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
 acknowledge your email of 29 April 2023 requesting under the Official
 Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:
 
‘I am writing to request the information regarding Transport sector
 agreement details and the information regarding:
 
1. The list of employers who have signed the Waka Kotahi (New Zealand
 Transport Authority) ‘All Parties Memorandum of Understanding – Improving
 Driver Terms and Conditions’ for the region they wish to recruit bus
 drivers.
2. The list of employers who are on the Ministry of Education-funded
 school bus service list.’
 
This email is to advise you that part one of your request has been
 transferred to Waka Kotahi and part two of your request has been
 transferred to the Ministry of Education on 4 May 2023 and is being
 processed in accordance with the Official Information Act 1982.
 
This is because the information you have requested is not held by the
 Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.  Section 14(b)(i) of the
 Official Information Act allows me to transfer any request where the
 information is not held, but is believed to be held by another department,
 organisation or Minister of the Crown.

The Ministry will consider and respond to your request in accordance with
 the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).
 
Under section 15(1) of the Act, we are required to make and inform you of
 our decision on your request as soon as reasonably practicable and in any
 case not later than 20 working days after the day on which your request is
 received.  You can therefore expect to receive our decision on your
 request on or before the 1^st of June 2023.  If more than 20 working days
 are needed due to the potential workload and/or consultations involved in
 answering your request, we will notify you accordingly.
 
The Ministry may publicly release on our website the response to your
 request five days after you have received it. Any personal information
 will be removed.
