From: M B

Dear New Zealand Police,

The Contract between the Police and Auror is dated August 2018. (https://fyi.org.nz/request/9337/response...)

Please provide:
- Any contract with Auror (or its previous names) prior to that dated August 2018 publicly released.

- Any material or documentation that was given to Auror prior to August 2018 that may have been used to develop their ANPR database and active detection capability portal.
- Any communication between Auror in the exchange of that material.

Yours faithfully,

Dear New Zealand Police,

I also add to the previous request:

- Please provide all documentation related to the Police issuing app development ideas to Auror? For instance, did Auror first launch the platform without retrospective search function and only implemented additional functions after the Police's requested them?

Yours faithfully,
Mason.

Complaint made to the ombudsman. The Police's assertions are difficult to reconcile with their public release of the current Auror contract. Why would they be any different?
