Thank you for your information request regarding the Independent Member on
New Plymouth District Council’s Strategic Projects Committee.

 

Expressions of interest for this position have been sought using Seek.

 

The position is still open (closing on 24 February 2023) and I’m unable to
provide any breakdown of applicants at this point in time.

 

This position is an appointee to a Council Committee and there is no “job
description” as such.  The requirements of the position are contained in
the Seek advertisement [1]here.   The pay rate will be negotiated with the
successful candidate and is not yet known.

 

Council established the Strategic Projects Committee in the 2019-2022
triennium – but did not appoint an external representative for that
triennium. 

 

Agendas and minutes of previous Strategic Projects Committee meetings are
available on the Council’s meeting page [2]here.  (Use the drop down menu
