Dear Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities,

I am writing to please request a transfer from Auckland to Tauranga. My kids are highly dependant on hospital/doctors visits and as a solo mother, I do not have any family or friend support what so ever in Auckland. I was unable to decline the first offer as we were living in a motel and did not want to risk being put off the housing register. There are multiple reasons why we need to be moved, from this property especially as my daughters Eczema flares up on the grass, causing doctors visits. More than we've ever had before.

I come from the bay of plenty where all my support networks are. We also do not feel safe in the area we have been placed in. My mail is being ripped up also which is concerning.
With the recent flooding and severe weather events, I'd love to be able to free up this current house I'm in for those affected by the floods and whom may not want to be moved from Auckland.
It would help heaps being in Tauranga and having better support with my 3 children under the age of 4 years old. I can also provide support letters from the DBH in Rotorua, my sons plunket nurse, family whom live in Tauranga, and also our Family Start Services. As this has now been made public, I'd hope to be able to get this request seen to as soon as possible.
I am ever so grateful for this opportunity but would please appreciate this matter be taken seriously and urgently.
