I am a permanent resident, living in New Zealand for the last 3 years.

Please can you provide the below information for Permanant resident visa applications applied for by persons that fall under the Skilled Migrant residency visa category:

1) In table format, please provide the below data fields horizontally:
- Date - starting on 3 January 2023 up to an including date of response.
- Count of Permanant resident visa applications received
- Number of applicants on the application
- Status of the application
- Applications assigned to a case officer
- Applications awaiting fee deduction
- Applications awaiting passport return to applicants
- Finalized applications
- Application outcome - granted
- Application outcome - denied

2) Count of Permanant resident applications, for persons with a Skilled Migrant resident visa, in flight prior to 3 January 2023, and the current application statuses you have for these applications.

Please note that days between 25 December 2022 to 15 January 2023
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This will affect the
time period for responding to your request.

under the Skilled Migrant Category prior to 3 January 2023.

Hi Emma,

Thank you for your response.

To clarify, my information request is with regards to permanent residency visa applications, specifically for people who currently have a skilled migrant residence visa. Hence part 2 of my request refers to your interpretation - 'a)' and in addition - with a submission date prior to 3 January 2023.

In this second part of my request, I am trying to determine how many Permanent resident applications received by INZ, have not been decisioned and completed, and where they are currently at.
