Grant Johnson made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment

Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment did not have the information requested.

From: Grant Johnson

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I am writing to inquire about the number of applications and applicants who are currently awaiting allocation under the skilled migrant residency stream and in the Skilled Migrant category who will not be eligible for the newly-announced, one-off 2021 Resident Visa.

Can you please provide:

1. The number of skilled migrant stream resident applications awaiting allocation who will not be eligible for the 2021 Resident visa, broken down by onshore/offshore status of the primary applicant.

2. The number of expressions of interest (EOI) in the Skilled Migrant Category pool who will not be eligible for the 2021 Resident visa, broken down by onshore/offshore status of the primary applicant.

For all of the above, please provide both the number of applications/EOIs as well as the number of applicants these represent (that is, including partners and dependent children).

Thank you for your assistance in gathering this information.

Yours faithfully,

Grant Johnson
