Waikato DHB ransomware attack inquiry briefings
Scott made this Official Information request to Andrew Little
The request was successful.
From: Scott
Dear office of Andrew Little,
Earlier this year, I made a request to this office for copies of briefings the minister had received on the inquiry into the Waikato DHB ransomware incident (the inquiry which was eventually completed by InPhySec).
My request was via the FYI website and can be viewed here (your ref ALOIA216):
https://fyi.org.nz/request/19608-waikato...
On 5 July you advised me that:
“Regarding part three of your request for all briefings I have received on this topic, this is refused under section 18(d) of the Act as information requested will soon be publicly available following the release of the independent report.”
Now that the independent report had been released, I would like to request the date that these briefings are scheduled to be made publically available.
If there is no longer an intention to release these proactively, I would like to renew my request for copies of all briefings the minister has received on the topic of the inquiry.
Yours faithfully,
Scott
