Advice received from Sir David Skegg advisory group on Traffic Light System

Scott made this Official Information request to Ayesha Verrall

The request was successful.

From: Scott

Dear Ayesha Verrall,

In a speech published recently on the Beehive website, the minister referred to a certain piece of advice received from the Strategic COVID-19 Public Health Advisory Group:

"So we are shifting from the strategic goal of elimination to minimisation and protection, under the new COVID-19 Protection Framework... The minimisation and protection goal, as articulated by Professor Skegg’s group, sets a goal of minimising the prevalence of COVID-19, and protecting people and the health system from its impacts."

I request a copy of the advice referred to here, that "articulates" the goals of the minimisation and protection strategy.

Yours faithfully,

Scott
