Dear Dan

 

I refer to your email of 25 October 2022 for a copy of the Government
Syndicated Retail Fuel Contract. The Official Information Act 1982 (OIA)
requires that a decision on your request be provided no later than 20
working days after the day your request was received. Unfortunately, it
will not be possible to meet that time limit and this email is to notify
you of an extension of the time to make a decision, to 20 December 2022.

 

This extension is required because consultations necessary to make a
decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably
be made within the original time limit.

 

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the OIA, to ask an Ombudsman to
review my decision to extend your request.
