Is the Minister a genuine fare-paying "regular" public transport user as he claims?

Mark Williams made this Official Information request to Michael Wood

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Mark Williams to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Mark Williams

Dear Michael Wood,

published in the digital edition of the New Zealand Herald dated 18 October 2022 is the following Statement from you, when speaking about the planned closure (for maintenance) of the Auckland rail tracks:

"Wood told the Herald today that as a regular public transport user, "I acknowledge Aucklanders' frustration at hearing there will be further disruption to their commute."

My question to you is:
1. Please advise on how many days in the last six months you have used and paid for public transport.

2. Please advise what this mode of public ransport was, and in what city.

Please do not include journies you did not personally pay for (for example, publicity or policy annoncements regarding public transport).

Please do not include any lunch-time only use of Wellington buses.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Williams
