University of Auckland
Dear Mr Lee,
I refer to your request of 23 September 2022. The information requested is
attached, with the following exceptions:
1. Your request for statistics about the scores of
successful/unsuccessful applicants has been refused under section
9(2)(a) of the OIA where the number of successful/unsuccessful
applicants is low, to protect their privacy.
2. Your request for 2023 information is refused under section 18(g) of
the OIA, as it does not exist yet.
3. Your request for the mean GPA for successful FY international
applicants has been refused under section 18(g) of the OIA, as the
University does not hold this custom statistic and is not required by
the OIA to create it.
You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.
Yours sincerely,
