Subject: Official Information request - Progress on clean air in schools and early childhood centres

Tēnā koe Ministry of Education,

I am searching for some information under the Official Information Act regarding the mahi being done on clean air for our schools and ECE options.

Could you please advise;

1. What percentage of New Zealand classrooms and ECE providers now have air purifiers with HEPA filters?

2. How did this percentage shift over the winter months, as ventilating with a window became more unreasonable in some areas?

3. What percentage of our schools and ECE providers have access to CO2 monitors to check the safety of their classrooms?

If the above information needs breaking down between type of education facility that will be fine.
