Dear Ministry of Transport,

I got fine of $200 today because of registration sticker was not displayed.
But my vehicle’s registration is still valid. I am sorry to not put it on time. Can you help me to get concession please. I can’t afford it.
I will be very careful next time. I will be grateful

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency doesn't issue or have jurisdiction over
these fines or infringements. However, if you can supply the following
information, we may be able to provide a confirmation that your vehicle
was licensed at the time you received the fine:

 

o Registration plate number, make and model
o Registered persons full name
o Date of birth
o Current address

 

 

Although we are unable to waive the fine, you can contact the issuing
authority and provide this confirmation to assist. The issuing authority
involved is usually the police, a local council or a parking authority.
