Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

I noted on your website

https://www.communitymatters.govt.nz/cro...

Ministers of the Crown have overall responsibility for Crown funded schemes and report to the Cabinet as appropriate. The Department of Internal Affairs receives an annual appropriation for grants for each fund from the Crown. Each fund was established to achieve specific Crown purposes and objectives.
Funds are distributed on the recommendations or decisions of independent panels, steering groups or committees.

Community and Volunteering Capability Fund
Community Led Development Programme
Community Internship Programme*
Disarmament Education United Nations Implementation Fund (DEUNIF)
Racing Safety Development Fund
Youth Worker Training Scheme*

Can you please provide the name for current member of above Crown funded schemes listed. Bio and term of appointment (expired date for each member) for each members of each schemes if available. Also, member’s pay rate and how did you call for public expression of interest to these roles.

You mentioned “ Funds are distributed on the recommendations or decisions of independent panels, steering groups or committees.” Can you please explain what do you mean by that? Does each funds listed above have separate independent panels, steering groups and committees?

Yours faithfully,

john luke
