The request was successful.
From: john luke
Dear Health Quality and Safety Commission,
I noted on your website
https://www.hqsc.govt.nz/news/new-member...
The new members joining the CAG are Delphina Soti, Maine Mareko, Russ Aiton and Jodie Bennett. Combined, they provide a greater depth of diversity to the make-up of the CAG, representing Pacific peoples, Māori youth, district health board consumer councils and mental health. You can read their biographies on our website here.
Five new members have also been appointed to the Commission’s Kōtuinga kiritaki | Consumer network, bringing the total membership to 15. Over 50 applicants expressed an interest in being involved in consumer work at the Commission, of which these five were chosen.
The new members are Zechariah Reuelu, Angie Smith, Jennie Harré Hindmarsh, Oliver Taylor and Ricky Ngamoki. They join a wide range of backgrounds and skills, and specifically bring voices representing Māori (including more remote communities), Pacific peoples and youth.
I would like to know how did your call for public expression of interest to this Consumer Advisory Group and Consumer network. I noted your articles mentioned "Over 50 applicants expressed an interest", can you please let me know how did they expressed their interest to join, e.g. via particular website, email your directly or referred to you by any other government agency. The pay rate of these group's members and what other benefit they are receiving.
I can't find the full list of Consumer network' member, can you please supply their name and bio please.
Yours faithfully,
john luke
