Ardern Government support for the murder of Palestinian civilians and desecration of religious sites
Andrew Li made this Official Information request to Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Andrew Li
Dear DPMC,
On April 23, a statement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade falsely suggesting that Palestinians bore some degree of responsibility for the repeated attacks made on the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Palestinian Jerusalem by zionist invaders.
On May 16, a further statement was made by Nanaia Mahuta, the responsible minister, denying that Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was murdered by the zionist entity, which you refer to as 'israel', contrary to all human witness statements and independent international investigations. Furthermore, it endorsed the unprovoked terrorist attack on the funeral of Shireen by zionist 'police'.
I am seeking all communications between the office of the Prime Minister, with MFAT and Nanaia Mahuta, relating to the ongoing zionist attacks against the legitimate population of Palestine, and relating to how statements by the Ardern government in regards the zionist entity and its continuing attacks on the native Palestinian population should be handled.
Kind regards,
Andrew Li
