We are writing concerning your Official Information Act request of 14 May
2022 to the Hon Andrew Little, in which you ask for “all intelligence
reports, cables and information the NZSIS has on the circumstances
surrounding Johnathon Fitzgerald Kennedy's assassination on 22 November
1963”. Your request was transferred to the NZSIS for response on 13 June
2022.
Before we begin processing your request, we require more information to
establish your eligibility to make a request under the Official
Information Act 1982 (OIA). Per Section 12 of the OIA, to be eligible to
make a request you must be:
· a New Zealand citizen
· a permanent resident of New Zealand
· a person who is in New Zealand
Please send documentation that confirms your eligibility to make an OIA
request to the NZSIS. This could be a scanned copy of a New Zealand
driver’s licence or passport or evidence of residency in New Zealand, such

Jack Hull... It's kind of weird that they have asked for such information as this is one of the first OIA's I have come across that they have asked for any proof. I can understand why they might as if one reads OIA's sent to DIA, GCSB/SIS, Defence there are some persons requesting information that have names that suggest they are/were foreign nationals that ask extremely detailed/probing/radical questions on topics such as opsec, readiness, capability as well as political connections and vulnerability yet they are not asked to provide such info. Kennedy has been dead for over 50 years but I respect that the yanks are touchy about the subject (Just thought given the fact we have been at odds with the states given our "friendship" with the CCP and loss of 5 eye creditials/previous ANZUS woes/apparent global want to destabilise the Americans they might just release what the U.S. govt hasn't thus far). Thought though that i'd give em something to satisfy them anyway since it's clear that since the search and surveillance act was passed under John key's govt that they have been domestically doing the same data collection that Edward Snowden proved the NSA has been doing since the passing of the Patriot act on us and i'm not exactly hard to find... Let them have fun doing their training exercises ;)
