NZ police check for RV2021 applicants phase 2

Sumit Kumar made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment

The request was successful.

From: Sumit Kumar

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

Yours faithfully,

There are more than 180,000 no. of people included in RV2021 category, vast majority of them are under phase 2.

What resources does INZ have to get NZ police check/vet of such large no. of people in timely manner ?
Does INZ going to apply each applicant’s police vetting application manually or new automated system will be used for that ?

More information relevant to this topic will provide huge relief to migrant community and RV2021 applicants.

Thanks.
