Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
NZTA is currently consulting on the Rolleston flyover project and associated works. These works, among other issues, are focused on the improvement of safety in relation to the Hoskyns Road railway crossing, where NZTA publicity material relating to the flyover project states there have been 40 near-misses in the past 10 years at this crossing.
What information does NZTA have relating to the safety of this railway crossing, including being able to determine what the causes are of the 40 near misses referred to?
