Significance of the New Naming Policy

Max Shierlaw made this Official Information request to Hutt City Council

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Hutt City Council should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Max Shierlaw

Dear Hutt City Council,

At the Policy, Finance & Strategy Committee meeting of 22 February 2022, Acting Director of Strategy and Engagement Jarred Griffiths told Councillors that Officers had considered whether the proposed new policy triggered the requirements of the Significance Policy, and concluded it did not.

Please forward me all communication held by the Officers which caused them to arrive at this conclusion.

Yours faithfully,
