Kia ora Scott,
We refer to your official information request for a list of NZSIS National Assessments Committee reports (as outlined below). We are writing to notify you that we have transferred your request to the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC).
National Assessment Committee papers were all issued under the authority of the Director of the National Assessments Bureau, who was the chair of the NAC. The National Assessment's Bureau is part of the National Security Group, within DPMC. Because of this, we believe the information you have requested is more closely aligned with the functions of DPMC; in these circumstances, we are required by section 14(b)(ii) of the Official Information Act 1982 to transfer your request.
You will hear further from DPMC concerning your request.
Kind regards
NZSIS
