I refer to your information request dated 7 March 2022 made under the
Official Information Act 1982 (Act). You have requested information in
relation to entry to the 2022 Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPhty) programme
via the Graduate category.

Subject to the following comment, please see our responses to each of your
questions below.

o Single Programme Preference is available for students wishing to only
apply to the BPhty programme. This allows the School of Physiotherapy
to recruit students who have signalled a strong commitment to the
BPhty programme. The Physiotherapy Admissions Committee will firstly
select from those applicants who are applying under Single Programme
Preference. If domestic places are still available after this point,
the Committee will then select from the group of applicants that have
applied to multiple Health Sciences Undergraduate Professional
Programmes. We note that all applicants must still meet the academic
thresholds set out by the [1]Regulations for the Degree of Bachelor of
Physiotherapy to be considered for entry to the BPhty programme. For
the purposes of our response, we have separated Single Programme
Preference applicants from those who applied to more than one
professional programme (not Single Programme Preference).

Number of General Graduate applicants for BPhty

The number of applicants to the 2022 BPhty programme via the Graduate
General category who were Single Programme Preference was 24.

The number of applicants to the 2022 BPhty programme via the Graduate
General category who were not Single Programme Preference was 41.

Number of successful General Graduate applicants for BPhty

The number of applicants to receive an offer to the 2022 BPhty programme
via the Graduate General category who were Single Programme Preference was
9. Of these applicants, 8 accepted their offer to enter the BPhty
programme.

The number of applicants to receive an offer to the 2022 BPhty programme
via the Graduate General category who were not Single Programme Preference
was 0.

Lowest General Graduate GPA that received a first round offer for BPhty

The minimum GPA to receive a first round offer to the 2022 BPhty programme
via the Graduate General category (Single Programme Preference) was 5.33.

There is no minimum GPA to receive a first round offer to the 2022 BPhty
programme via the Graduate General category (not Single Programme
Preference), as no applicants via this category received a first round
offer to the programme.

Lowest General Graduate GPA that received an offer from the waitlist for
BPhty

The minimum GPA to receive a waitlist offer to the 2022 BPhty programme
via the Graduate General category (Single Programme Preference) was 4.98.

There is no minimum GPA to receive a waitlist offer to the 2022 BPhty
programme via the Graduate General category (not Single Programme
Preference), as no applicants via this category were waitlisted.

I trust you will find this information helpful.
