Request for information on post-vaccination bioaccumulation of nano particles.

R Bailey made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

Ministry of Health did not have the information requested.

From: R Bailey

Dear Ministry of Health,

I have recently become aware that lipid nano particles can bioaccumulate in the ovaries of Wistar Rats post vaccination.

Evidence of this is provided in these papers:

"Accumulation of nanocarriers in the ovary: A neglected toxicity risk?"
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/ar...

And from Pfizer animal studies which have been released under FOIA request in Japan.

"SARS-CoV-2 mRNA Vaccine (BNT162, PF-07302048). 2.6.5"
https://www.pmda.go.jp/drugs/2021/P20210...

I have the following questions:

1A. Is the ministry aware of the information included in these studies showing bioaccumulation in ovaries?
1B If not, why not?

2. If the ministry is aware of the information when did it become aware of the potential of nanolipids particles to accumulate in the ovaries? Who discovered it and who else knew about it.

3. If the ministry is aware, which individual or individuals decided it was not worthy of inclusion on the informed consent information given to the public?

4. Now that the Ministry is presently aware of this information who will decide whether or not it is to be included in future vaccine safety information for informed consent?

Yours faithfully,

R Bailey

Tēnā koe R. Bailey

Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the
Act) to the Ministry of Health (the Ministry) on 18 February 2022 for
information related to nano lipid particles. Please find a response to
each part of your request below:

I have recently become aware that lipid nano particles can bioaccumulate
in the ovaries of Wistar Rats post vaccination. Evidence of this is
provided in these papers:

o "Accumulation of nanocarriers in the ovary: A neglected toxicity
risk?"[1]https://scanmail.trustwave.com/?c=15517&...

o And from Pfizer animal studies which have been released under FOIA
request in Japan."SARS-CoV-2 mRNA Vaccine (BNT162, PF-07302048).
2.6.5"[2]https://scanmail.trustwave.com/?c=15517&...

1A. Is the ministry aware of the information included in these studies
showing bioaccumulation in ovaries? 1B If not, why not?

2. If the ministry is aware of the information when did it become aware of
the potential of nano lipids particles to accumulate in the ovaries? Who
discovered it and who else knew about it?

3. If the ministry is aware, which individual or individuals decided it
was not worthy of inclusion on the informed consent information given to
the public?

4. Now that the Ministry is presently aware of this information who will
decide whether or not it is to be included in future vaccine safety
information for informed consent?

Of the studies related to nano lipid particles referenced above; one is
from 2012, and the other was submitted to Japanese Authorities. Please
note that while the Act allows people to ask for information, it does not
require the Ministry to create new information, compile information it
does not hold, or in the case of these parts of your request, to comment
on studies or provide an opinion. The Act does not support requests where
a comment or a hypothetical statement is put to it and the Ministry is
asked to comment on it, couched as a request for official information.
These parts of your request are therefore refused under section 18(g) of
the Act as the information is not held by the Ministry and there are no
grounds for believing it is held by another agency subject to the Act.

Under section 28(3) of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to
review any decisions made under this request. The Ombudsman may be
contacted by email at: [3][email address] or by calling 0800
802 602.
