Use of oseltamivir during Swine Flu pandemic 2009
Athina Andonatou made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
The request was successful.

    Dear Ministry of Health,
Pandemics are nothing new and sadly as long as our people's health is declining due to numerous factors, we will continue to see them emerge, especially as the focus is placed solely on vaccination. It appears history is repeating itself.
In 2009 during the swine flu pandemic, New Zealand ordered 1.4 million doses of oseltamivir aka Tamiflu. My questions are:
1) how much did the purchase of 1.4 million doses of oseltamivir aka Tamiflu.cost?
2) how many doses were actually used of the 1.4 million doses purchased by New Zealand?
3) How many adverse effects were reported following it's use?
Yours faithfully,
Athina Andonatou
