Dear Frank,

 

I refer to your request of 14 January 2021. The University’s response
follows.

 

“I would like to know what percentage of students that have completed the
Vaccination Declaration Portal chose not to disclose their vaccination
status, and what percentage of students that have completed the
Vaccination Declaration Portal picked the "I do not have a vaccine pass"
option?”

 

Of the students that have completed the Vaccination Declaration Portal to
date:

o 0.8% have chosen not to disclose their status, and
o 1.2% have ticked the “I do not have a vaccine pass” option. Of these
students, some were vaccinated overseas and are awaiting a NZ pass to
be issued, some have had one vaccine and will not be fully vaccinated
and eligible for a vaccine pass for a further period, and some do not
intend to be vaccinated.
