Hi Oscar,

As your request is currently worded, we require some clarification for the
Ministry of Health (the Ministry) to consider providing you with the
information requested. Requests made under the Official Information Act
1982 must be made with due particularity and so for the Ministry to manage
your request, can you please provide further specific details about the
information you are requesting? In your request you mention "MIQ rule's
broken" - can you please clarify if you are requesting information
relating to the individual Robert Etheridge not waiting for the 9th day
test result or something else? This clarification will enable the Ministry
to better respond to your request. 

As you are aware, the OIA requires a decision to be provided as soon as
practicable, so please let me know as soon as possible if you have any
questions or issues.

The Ministry of Health has decided to extend the period of time available
to respond to your request under section 15A (1)(b) of the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act) as consultation necessary to make a
decision on your request is such that a proper response cannot reasonably
be made within the normal 20 working day time limit. The Ministry of
Health will reply to your request by no later than 15 March 2022, and
earlier if possible.  

 

You have the right, under section 28 of the Act, to ask the Ombudsman to
review my decision to extend the time available to respond to your
