MIQ slots for tv production "Men in Kilts"

Penny Krafft made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Penny Krafft to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Penny Krafft

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I see that the second season of the TV show "Men in Kilts" is due to be filmed in New Zealand early next year and this will involve at least one MIQ slot (as per a recent Forbes interview https://www.forbes.com/sites/jeffconway/...).

I am curious as to:

a) how many MIQ slots were granted in association with this production for all personnel involved (including crew etc);

b) what was the rationale behind the decision to grant these slots?
i) in the case of 'job creation' how many jobs are expected to be granted to locals during the course of production?
ii) in the case of other economic benefits, what evidence was provided and how was it assessed?

Yours faithfully,
P. C. Krafft
