Request information regarding the hospitalizations rates after the vaccine.
Noel Turditch made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Ministry of Health should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Noel Turditch
Dear Ministry of Health,
As a concerned New Zealander, I do not believe the side effects and risks of the vaccines are made clear to everybody. Due to the current "unconfirmed" deaths in NZ following the vaccine and also the thousands of adverse side effects, I am afraid for the health of my family as we have underlying health conditions. With data reviewed from NZ's medsafe page it seems that heart/respitory conditions seem to take an aggressive turn once the vaccine has been administered and therfore request the following.
1: How much people total in NZ have been hospitalized after getting vaccinated?
2: Where is the public evidence proving the vaccine to be safe for short and long term protection?
Data collected from medsafe nz
Yours faithfully, Noel Turditch.

Kia ora Noel,
Thank you for your email. Information in response to your request is
outlined below:
1: How many people total in NZ have been hospitalized after getting
vaccinated?
As of 20 November 2021, Medsafe has received 1462 serious adverse events
following immunisation (AEFI) reports. This information is publicly
available
at: [1]www.medsafe.govt.nz/COVID-19/safety-report-37.asp#aefi An AEFI is
considered serious if it:
· is a medically important event or reaction
· requires hospitalisation or prolongs an existing
hospitalisation
· causes persistent or significant disability or incapacity
· is life threatening
· causes a congenital anomaly/birth defect
· results in death.
Please note, the Ministry does not receive notification of everyone who
has been hospitalised after being vaccinated, only when they make an AEFI
report.
